During September and early October, Quinta do Gradil invites you to experience one of the most authentic wine experiences in Portugal: participate in the magical grape harvest, surrounded by the unique landscapes of the Serra de Montejunto and the imposing hectares of vineyards that mark this historic property.
The program for the day includes the following:
- 10:30 AM - Arrival at the Quinta with wine tasting and sampling of regional snacks
- 11:00 AM - Start of the harvest: with scissors in hand, harvest your own bunches of grapes
- 11:45 AM - Guided tour of the property, winery, and wine cellar
- 12:30 PM – Traditional grape treading moment… barefoot!
- 1:00 PM - Delivery of the picnic basket and picnic among the vineyards, with typical delicacies from the region
As a gift, each participant receives a straw hat for sun protection. There will also be an opportunity to sample special wines from Quinta do Gradil. This is undoubtedly one of the most authentic and memorable wine experiences in Portugal.
Note: This experience is only available on 6 and 13 of September and 7 October. Children under 5 years old do not pay; those between 5 and 10 years old pay 50%; from 11 years old onwards, adult conditions apply.
